A stellar example of our custom retail packaging. Each fly is lovingly tied and packaged, with a special tribute. This fly is "The Pipsqueak", tied for author Brian Wiprud who is an avid fly fisherman. Hypothetically, we can take characteristics of the subject and incorporate them into the fly. "The Pipsqueak", for example, is based on a squirrel from the wiprud novel pipsqueak. It is tied with squirrel hair, and has gold trim leading to a rather unruly hackle representing the main character's crazy hair. Now isn't that just the grandest thing you've ever seen. It is a fun challenge for our staff to try and incorporate weird personal features into a fly, and gives the recipient something to show off to their friends. I'll bet you are reading this right now thinking, "damn, I don't have a fly named after me. I got to get me some of that action."

Each fly comes with a Certificate of authenticity which, more or less, proves you have an original item. Since we can't really seem to do anything consistently around here, it is likely your fly will become a valuable collectors item.
